A Grade 5 Saginaw PS student Nevan Langlois, who was previously diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) has recently received the devastating news that he has relapsed for the third time. Nevan is an amazing, funny, smart, caring 10 year old boy who has lots of hopes and dreams. He naturally tries to ‘look on the bright side’ of things for not only himself but everyone around him. His oncology team has decided that the best course of action would be for him to be transferred to Philadelphia for treatment.
As you can imagine, the financial and emotional impact on the Langlois family (Craig, Anita, Nevan and Nylah) is tremendous and overwhelming. To help relieve some of this stress (and along with many generous and caring people in our little community) we have organized a Day of Fundraising & Fun that will be held at Cambridge Temple Bar Pub on Sunday Feb 11th from 12-6pm.
There will be lots of fun family activities;
• AMAZING items for auction
• live entertainment with members of ‘The Practically Hip’
• on-site Tumble Bus
• 10% of food sales will go directly to the family, come in & enjoy some great food!
Please note: The Silent Auction will also have an option to purchase and take any item at any time at small decrease of face value. The Auction will ‘close’ at 4pm.
*Raffle* winner will be announced approx. same time. Our hope is that the Langlois family can get through this with much support from our caring community.
The Langlois family and ‘Team Nevan’ thank you for your support! See you there!
