Good afternoon Timberwolf Families,
Please see the attached letter from the Director of Education, Loretta Notten.
Late Fall Update Letter Nov 22 2021
There are a few important updates for you.  Most notably:
  1. Vaccination for students ages 5-11 is ready to be rolled out.  A parent’s approval will be required and any school-based vaccination sites will happen after hours.  In spite of what you may be hearing, we will not be vaccinating your children at school throughout the day.  Please continue to be aware of false information and remember, Social Media is not the news.
  2. Rapid Antigen Tests will be given to all students for administration over the Christmas break.  Any time between December 23 and January 4th, you are able to administer these voluntary tests so that we are all assured a safe and healthy return to school in January 2022.
  3. Students under the age of 12 who travel outside of Canada over the Christmas break will not be considered fully vaccinated and therefore not be allowed to return to school until 14 days from the return have passed.  This is all covered in the School Screening that we are all asked to do each day before coming to school.  Please make sure you understand this before you make plans for the holidays, or expect to return on January 3rd.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.
